The Executive Sous Chef assists the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent preparation of high-quality food, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and managing kitchen staff. This role supervises daily kitchen activities, supports menu development, controls food costs, and ensures efficient kitchen operations while delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor's degree, diploma, or vocational certification in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Have progressive culinary experience, including experience in a supervisory or Sous Chef role.
- Strong knowledge of international and local cuisines, food preparation techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of inventory management, food costing, budgeting, and purchasing.
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and preventive maintenance practices.
