Job Title: Accounting Associate (Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable)
Job Objective
The Accounting Associate is responsible for managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including billing, collections, payment processing, and general accounting. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial transactions across all clients and branches.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP)- Process invoices, verify accuracy, and prepare payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain records and handle vendor inquiries
- Prepare and issue billing statements
- Monitor collections and apply payments
- Reconcile accounts and follow up on overdue balances
- Communicate with clients on outstanding accounts
- Resolve billing and payment concerns
- Assist with collection efforts
- Support month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare financial and aging reports
- Ensure accurate records and compliance
- Assist in audits
- Coordinate with internal teams on billing/payment issues
- Help improve accounting processes
- Perform other assigned tasks
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 1 year experience in AP/AR or similar role
- Knowledge of accounting processes and systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and ability to handle confidential information
