Accounting Associate

Job Description

The Accounting Associate will be responsible for supporting the company’s day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, bank transactions, tax compliance, and tenant billing activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare check vouchers and assist in check preparation and issuance.
• Record financial transactions accurately in the books of accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and accounting reports.
• Handle and monitor bank-related transactions.
• Prepare collection reports and monitor rental payments from tenants.
• Follow up collections and coordinate with tenants regarding payment status.
• Generate Statement of Accounts for tenants and clients.
• Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable reports.
• Compute taxes and assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Maintain and organize tax, accounting, and compliance-related documents.
• Assist in business permit processing, government filings, and other accounting-related documentation.

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management.
• With at least 1 year of relevant working experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance.
• Knowledgeable in bookkeeping processes and preparation of financial statements using a computerized accounting system.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with skills in Microsoft Excel.
• With knowledge or experience in tax filing, BIR compliance, bank transactions, and business permit processing is an advantage.
• Proactive, flexible, resourceful, and results-oriented.
• Able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• Willing to travel for bank transactions, business permit processing, government filings, and other accounting-related errands.
• Willing to work in Magallanes, Makati City.
