Virtual Assistant Instructor

The Virtual Assistant Instructor is responsible for designing, delivering, and improving training programs that prepare virtual assistants (VAs) to effectively support clients across various industries (e.g., admin, real estate, e-commerce, digital marketing).
The role ensures VAs are client-ready, skilled, and aligned with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development- Design and deliver structured training programs for new and existing VAs
- Conduct live training sessions (Zoom/Google Meet) and recorded modules
- Develop training materials (SOPs, manuals, playbooks, videos)
- Customize training based on client requirements and VA skill gaps
- Provide 1:1 coaching and mentoring sessions
- Monitor trainee progress and evaluate performance
- Conduct assessments (quizzes, mock tasks, role plays)
- Give actionable feedback and improvement plans
- Facilitate onboarding programs for newly hired VAs
- Train on tools (CRM, project management tools, communication platforms)
- Ensure VAs meet quality, productivity, and client standards
- Update training modules based on industry trends and tools
- Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Client Success teams
- Track training effectiveness and improve programs using data
Qualifications
Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree holder
- At least 3-5 years experience as VA Instructor
- Prior experience as a Virtual Assistant (highly preferred)
- Strong English communication (written and spoken)
- Training facilitation and presentation skills
- Instructional design / curriculum development
- Coaching and mentoring ability
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Tech-savvy (Zoom, Google Workspace, CRM tools, AI tools)
- Experience in:
- Real estate VA training
- Social media / digital marketing VA
- E-commerce (Shopify, Amazon)
- Knowledge of:
- SOP creation
- KPI tracking / QA processes
- AI tools (ChatGPT, automation tools)
- VA training completion rate
- Trainee performance scores
- Client satisfaction ratings
- Time-to-productivity of new hires
- Training effectiveness metrics
