Provides strategic and operational Human Resources support across the GC&C Group of Companies, covering Employee and Labor Relations, Recruitment, Training and Development, HRIS, Compensation and Benefits, and other HR administrative functions.Ensures compliance with labor laws, company policies, statutory requirements, and HR best practices while supporting organizational goals and employee engagement.
DAILY TASKSConducts toolbox meetings and HR coordination discussions
Monitors, reads, and responds to e-mails and messages through Outlook, Teams, Viber, and other communication platforms
Attends to employees’ concerns, inquiries, and grievances
Receives and evaluates incident reports from various departments and prioritizes cases requiring immediate action
Supervises HR Officers, Recruitment & Training personnel, HR Associates, and Company Nurse in planning and execution of their functions and activities
Monitors HR operations and ensures timely completion of deliverables
WEEKLY TASKSConducts and attends Management Committee (MANCOM) meetings
Reviews and approves employees’ cash advance applications through the GCC Web System and forwards approved documents to Payroll for processing
Conducts investigations on reported incidents and administers disciplinary procedures when necessary
Coordinates with concerned departments regarding disciplinary actions, salary deductions, or corrective measures
Maintains and updates incident monitoring records and documentation
MONTHLY TASKSReviews and signs Notices to Explain (NTE) and Notices of Decision (NOD) for employees with habitual tardiness and absences
Prepares and submits monthly HR Performance Review Reports
Attends management performance review meetings and presents HR Department accomplishments, metrics, and updates
Reviews manpower status, attrition reports, and HR operational concerns
SEMI-ANNUAL TASKSPresents HR Department performance and strategic updates to Top Management
Coordinates with the Training Officer regarding employee evaluation results every January and July
Assists in reviewing departmental development plans and training effectiveness
ANNUAL TASKSCoordinates company-wide activities such as the Annual Christmas Party and employee engagement programs
Prepares and organizes HR documents and procedures for ISO audits and surveillance activities
Assists in annual manpower planning, policy review, and organizational development initiatives
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews and approves HR documents prepared by HR personnel, including: Disciplinary notices
Termination lettersContract discontinuance documents
Onboarding and exit documents
Personnel Action Notices (PAN)
Government certification requests
Processes employee resignations, conducts exit interviews, and monitors attrition reports
Reviews and signs HR clearance documents for final pay processing
Conducts administrative hearings and provides recommendations for disciplinary actions
Conducts final interviews for shortlisted applicants and manpower requisitions
Oversees implementation of wage increases, salary adjustments, and employee allowances in compliance with labor regulations
Reviews and approves HR electronic forms such as Leave Applications, Transmittals, and Personnel Requests
Ensures proper approval and monitoring of Department Heads’ leave applications
Represents the company in conferences, hearings, and proceedings with DOLE, NLRC, and other government agencies
Develops, updates, and implements HR policies, procedures, and systems
Ensures effective implementation of recruitment, employee relations, training, and employee welfare programs
Evaluates HR staff performance during probationary periods and recommends regularization or further development
Issues HR memoranda, advisories, and official communications
Reviews and approves manpower requests and recruitment postings through HRIS
Ensures proper filing, safekeeping, and confidentiality of HR records and documents
Establishes departmental objectives aligned with the Quality Management System (QMS) and organizational goals
Performs other related duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications/Requirements- Male/Female
- Bachelor’s Degree holder preferably in BS Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related 4-year course
- At least ten (10) years of solid experience in Human Resources functions, with a minimum of five (5) years in a managerial role
- Strong background in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Recruitment, Training and Development, and HR Operations
- Excellent leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence (EQ)
- Very keen to details with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Sound experience in promoting employee welfare, engagement, and workplace culture
- Able to work under pressure and demonstrate strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Knowledgeable in local labor laws, disciplinary procedures, and HR compliance practices
- Comfortable in drafting and implementing HR policies, procedures, and work processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS platforms
- Knowledgeable in AI-powered and digital HR tools such as automated recruitment systems, online assessment platforms, HR analytics dashboards, digital onboarding systems, and AI-assisted documentation tools
- Familiarity with digital collaboration and communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Zoom, and cloud-based HR systems
- With working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems and documentation standards
- Physically and mentally fit with good moral character
- Flexible and willing to render overtime work when necessary
