Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor – Duties & Responsibilities (FMCG)
Warehouse Operations- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching FMCG products.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance when necessary.
- Plan and oversee timely inbound and outbound shipments.
- Track delivery performance and resolve issues like delays or damaged goods.
- Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams for efficient distribution.
- Ensure compliance with FMCG storage and handling requirements.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse and logistics staff.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Enforce safety protocols and company policies within the team.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
- Analyze KPIs and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Prepare regular reports for management review.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: 2–5 years in FMCG warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of FMCG inventory control, stock rotation, and fast-paced operations.
- Ability to manage teams and coordinate logistics efficiently.
