Sales and Logistics Supervisor

The Sales and Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing both sales operations and logistics activities to ensure efficient product distribution, customer satisfaction, and achievement of company sales targets. This role involves supervising sales performance, coordinating delivery operations, managing inventory movement, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Operations & Planning

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and increase market share.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales reports and updates.
• Identify potential customers, distribution channels, and new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with clients regarding orders, pricing, and product availability.
• Assist in planning promotional activities and sales programs.

1. Logistics & Distribution Management

• Supervise daily logistics and delivery operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, routing, and dispatching of products.
• Monitor inventory movement and stock levels to avoid shortages or delays.
• Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Coordinate with delivery helpers and drivers to maintain operational efficiency.

1. Team Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise and guide sales staff, drivers, helpers, and logistics personnel.
• Assign tasks and monitor team productivity and performance.
• Conduct regular meetings and provide coaching to improve work efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.

1. Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain good relationships with customers, distributors, and suppliers.
• Address customer concerns, delivery issues, and service-related concerns promptly.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient coordination and communication.
• Gather customer feedback and recommend improvements in service and operations.

1. Inventory & Documentation Control

• Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate stock reconciliation activities.
• Prepare and maintain sales, logistics, and inventory reports.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of delivery receipts, invoices, and related documents.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding order fulfillment and operational concerns.

1. Compliance & Process Improvement

• Ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and operational procedures.
• Monitor adherence to safety and sanitation standards during logistics operations.
• Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support management in implementing new systems and operational strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.

Experience:

• At least 2-4 years of experience in sales, logistics, distribution or supervisory role.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or distribution industry is an advantage.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of sales operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and reporting.
