Business Development and Sales Manager for Human Nutrition

The Business Development & Sales Manager - Human Nutrition will drive the strategic growth of the Human Nutrition business in the Philippines, working closely with regional teams to expand market reach, develop new product opportunities, and strengthen customer engagement across the value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments
  • Manage and grow key accounts while acquiring new clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to guide sales strategies
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and profit & loss projections
  • Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, supply chain, and operations) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
  • Resolve customer concerns and implement improvements to enhance service quality
  • Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and business meetings
  • Support sourcing of new products and suppliers locally and globally
  • Lead and support the development of the sales team as the business expands

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 7–10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in chemical distribution, food ingredients, or nutrition industry
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends
  • Proven track record in business development and account management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Highly analytical with strong business acumen
  • Willing to travel regularly and conduct on-site client visits.
