Business Development Specialist- Hospitality Solution
Location: Philippines (Metro Manila, Boracay, Palawan, Cebu)
Job Summary:
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for expanding Mayer Group Hospitality’s presence in the Philippines by acquiring hotel, resort, and villa partners in key destinations such as Metro Manila, Boracay, Palawan, and Cebu. The role focuses on offering OTA management, revenue optimization, and distribution solutions to increase clients’ bookings and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Territory Management
Actively source and acquire hotel, resort, and villa partners in:
Metro Manila
Boracay
Palawan
Cebu
Conduct field visits, site inspections, and client presentations
Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads within assigned territories
Sales & Client Acquisition
Present Mayer Group Hospitality services, including:
OTA management
Revenue management
Channel distribution solutions
Identify client pain points and propose tailored solutions
Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively
Relationship Management
Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with property owners and managers
Support onboarding and ensure a smooth transition to the operations team
Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction
Market Expansion & Strategy
Analyze local market trends in each destination
Identify opportunities for growth in emerging tourist areas
Provide insights on competitor activity and pricing strategies
Performance & Reporting
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain accurate sales pipeline and reporting
Track conversion rates and revenue contribution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in:
Hospitality
Travel agency
Hotel OTA or SaaS solutions
Strong network within Philippine hospitality industry is a big advantage
Willing to travel frequently across assigned destinations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Self-driven and target-oriented
