Business Development Specialist
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities that contribute to the growth and expansion of Premier Global Recruitment (PGR). The position focuses on client acquisition, market expansion, employer engagement, lead generation, and relationship management to increase recruitment projects, job orders, and deployment opportunities for Filipino workers.
The Business Development Specialist actively builds and maintains relationships with foreign employers, recruitment partners, industry stakeholders, and other business contacts. The role conducts market research, develops business proposals, coordinates employer accreditation initiatives, and supports strategic growth projects to strengthen PGR's presence in existing and emerging labor markets.
The position serves as a key link between prospective clients and internal departments, ensuring that business opportunities are effectively converted into successful recruitment projects while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethical recruitment, and regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development and Client Acquisition- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities with foreign employers, recruitment agencies, staffing companies, and strategic partners.
- Generate qualified leads through market research, networking, referrals, digital platforms, trade events, and business missions.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and business opportunities.
- Conduct business presentations, meetings, and negotiations with prospective employers and partners.
- Prepare business proposals, capability statements, presentations, and service agreements.
- Negotiate commercial terms, recruitment agreements, and partnership contracts.
- Convert prospective clients into active recruitment projects and accredited employers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with foreign employers, recruitment agencies, industry associations, educational institutions, chambers of commerce, and government agencies.
- Explore opportunities for strategic alliances, joint ventures, and collaborative workforce development initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business partners and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular partnership reviews and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Foster long-term partnerships that support PGR's business objectives and market presence.
- Conduct labor market research and business intelligence activities to identify emerging opportunities.
- Monitor global labor demand, workforce shortages, migration trends, and industry developments.
- Analyze competitor activities, market conditions, and recruitment trends.
- Recommend new markets, industries, and expansion strategies to Management.
- Support market entry initiatives and employer engagement activities in target countries.
- Assist prospective employers in understanding DMW, MWO, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate employer accreditation documentation and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate communication and meetings between employers, government agencies, and PGR Management.
- Support the development of manpower supply projects, recruitment campaigns, and strategic workforce solutions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful implementation of recruitment projects.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, employers, and partners.
- Provide timely responses to inquiries, concerns, and requests for assistance.
- Conduct regular client engagement activities and business reviews.
- Monitor client satisfaction and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality service and professional support to all stakeholders.
- Represent PGR during local and international business missions, conferences, trade fairs, networking events, and industry forums.
- Promote PGR's services, ethical recruitment practices, and workforce solutions.
- Strengthen PGR's reputation and visibility within the international recruitment industry.
- Support business development and marketing initiatives that enhance corporate branding and employer engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, clients, employers, business opportunities, and partnership activities.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business development reports.
- Monitor project pipelines, lead conversion rates, and business development performance indicators.
- Provide Management with market intelligence, competitor analysis, and strategic recommendations.
- Track progress against business development goals and targets.
- Ensure compliance with DMW regulations, company policies, ethical recruitment principles, and applicable labor standards.
- Protect the confidentiality of company, client, and partner information.
- Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and management directives as assigned.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities that contribute to the achievement of PGR's business objectives.
