Senior Shared Services Accountant

Job Description

In this role, you will contribute to preparing and processing financial reports and documents, ensuring all data are accurate and usable by management.

• Prepare financial reports and financial statements
• Process and analyze budget
• Process bills payments, refunds
• Handle and manage bank reconciliations
• Coordinate and liaise with internal and external teams regarding bank compliance
• Coordinate and liaise with the tax team in ensuring tax reports are properly supported by reconciliation schedules and explanatory notes
• Coordinate and liaise with the admin team for ensuring compliance with reportorial requirements by the government authorities.
• Perform daily finance and accounting activities
• Complete month-end closing activities with accuracy and timeliness
• Support junior team members by reviewing their output, training, and mentoring

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - a MUST
• At least 5 years of record-to-report function in a shared services environment
• At least 1 year of finance role in payments processing
• Shared service or External audit experience is a plus
• Ability to analyze and understand complex processes, identify issues as they arise and resolve the underlying problems.
• Strong administrative/organizational skills to manage the month-end reconciliation process for the ledger.
• Ability to work on tasks and manage own time to meet deadlines.
• Strong business acumen and detail-oriented
• Strong verbal and written communications skills in English.
