About the role
As a Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and supply chain processes to ensure the seamless delivery of products to our customers.
What you'll be doing- Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods and materials throughout the supply chain, from procurement to delivery
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to plan and execute logistics activities
- Manage and optimise warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock management and space utilisation
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Prepare and manage shipping documents.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures (PEZA & BOC)
- Provide support and training to the logistics team as needed
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or warehousing industry
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to optimise logistics processes
- Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Thorough understanding of logistics regulations, best practices and industry trends
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management or a related field
