Delivery driver

Job Description

1. Safe Operation: Safely operate and maneuver commercial vehicles according to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
2. Cargo Transport: Load, unload, and securely transport cargo to designated locations while ensuring the integrity of the shipment.
3. Route Planning: Plan routes efficiently, considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and delivery schedules to optimize delivery times.
4. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and report any issues to maintenance staff.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logs.
6. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professionalism during interactions with clients, handling inquiries, and addressing any delivery-related concerns.
7. Compliance: Adhere to all transportation regulations and compliance standards set by local, state, and federal authorities, including hours-of-service regulations.
8. Communication: Maintain open communication with dispatchers, logistics coordinators, and other team members to provide updates on delivery status and address any issues that may arise during transit.
9. Safety: Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, including proper loading and securing of cargo, defensive driving techniques, and adherence to safety regulations.

• Male, preferably not more than 50 years old
• Physically fit and can assist in loading/unloading when needed
• With valid Driver’s License (Restriction 1, 2, 3 / ABC / Professional 1, 2)
• Can drive 4-wheel and/or 6-wheel trucks
• Willing to work on early shift (3:00 AM) or morning shift (6:00–7:00 AM)
• Stay-out position
• No visible tattoos
• Preferably familiar with routes in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, and Batangas
• With Overtime Pay (as required by operation)
