As Accounting/HR Coordinator You Are Expected To:
Accounting Support (Subcontractors and Vendors):
- Manage subcontractor accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Collect, review, and track lien waivers from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage preliminary notices, ensuring timely submission and accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain compliance with subcontractor documentation requirements (insurance certificates, W-9s, contracts)
Human Resources Support (Employees):
- Coordinate onboarding process for new employees, including offer letters, background checks, and enrollment in benefits.
- Manage employee records, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and filed.
- Administer health insurance enrollments, terminations, and communications with providers.
- Maintain and update employee databases and ensure compliance with company HR policies.
General:
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems f or accounting and HR documents.
- Assist with compliance tracking and reporting.Identify opportunities to improve processes and suggest workflow improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or HR support roles (preferably for U.S. companies).
- Prior experience working with subcontractors, accounts payable, lien waivers, and preliminary notices is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing employee onboarding, benefits administration, and HR documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Paycor and Trimble Spectrum software experience a plus.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
