Account Associate (Billing)

Also responsible for preparing the statement of account of Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), Companies, stockholders, and individuals for endorsement to Collection Department.

This role reports directly to the Immediate Supervisor of Billing section under Account Management Department.

What’s The Role All About?

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Checking accurately all pertinent information in Patient's data sheet
• Processing all billing accounts within turnaround time
• Providing timely and accurate billing / statement of accounts
• Responding timely and accurately on email requests
• Addressing courteously and politely in all billing inquiries and concerns
• Providing on time resolutions to complaints
• Coordinates with units, departments, doctors, and other internal customers to complete the billing requirements of patients
• Provides and ensures the accurate computation of discounts and limitations of HMO/Company accounts based on the Letter of Authorization in the preparation of Statement of Account
• Ensures that patients are informed of the Philhealth requirements for timely submission of complete documents, and for timely endorsement to Collection departments, to secure processing of Philhealth discounts

Who Are We Looking For?

An effective Account Associate must possess the following skills:

Knowledge in:

• Medical Billing
• Processing of Statement of Accounts
• Account Management
• Invoicing

Ideally, a candidate must be a graduate of any 4-year Bachelor's degree (preferably a graduate of Business Administration, Accountancy, or any Accounting related course).
