Billing Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. In this role, you will be a key resource in researching and analyzing complex items related to customer contracts and billing transactions. You will ensure that all contractual elements are entered accurately and in accordance with terms to support a smooth revenue cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Review & Order Processing: Review contracts and process sales orders and billing changes into production systems.
• Billing Support: Validate new orders, set up product databases, and process adjustments or billing reconciliations.
• Contract Interpretation: Research customer agreements and addendums to interpret key rates, terms, and conditions.
• Strategic Analysis: Perform complex analysis and reconciliations for strategic clients and process rebills or credits as required.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate directly with external customers to explain billing invoices and policies.
• Revenue Cycle Improvement: Identify problems within the revenue cycle and work with management to implement solutions.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in mid-month and month-end close duties to ensure a timely billing close.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Revenue Cycle or Billing.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with various departments and external clients.
• Self-Management: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet tight deadlines in a high-transaction environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Salesforce or Microsoft Access.
• Bachelor’s degree with a background in Business, Accounting, or Finance
