Position: Customs DeclarantExperience Required: Minimum of 2 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately compute duties, taxes, and other applicable charges
- Coordinate with clients, shipping lines, and government agencies
- Ensure timely and efficient clearance of shipments
- Provide excellent customer service and handle client inquiries professionally
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Customs Declarant or in a related role
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures, tariff classification, and valuation
- Proficient in computing duties and taxes
- Detail-oriented and highly organised
- Customer service–oriented with strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Business or trade-related degree required
