HR Generalist

TalentHero is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to support in delivering exceptional HR services. This role will be responsible for handling the administrative HR functions for assigned client accounts, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws, and working closely with the Finance and Payroll departments.
The HR Generalist will play a key role in maintaining accurate employee records, processing HR transactions & Payroll, and providing support to employees and managers.
- Administrative HR Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support in the delivery of HR services to assigned client accounts.
- Employee Onboarding/Offboarding: Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding process for employees with the People Operations and Onboarding team, including conducting orientations, and coordinating terminations, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws and client-specific requirements.(as needed)
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and electronic, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Process employee data changes, such as personal information, compensation, and job status changes.
- HR Transactions Processing: Process various HR transactions, including but not limited to: leaves of absence, benefits enrollment, and other employee requests. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration Support: Collaborate with the Finance and Payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of Payroll for client employees. Provide support in administering employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations. Maintain knowledge of current labor laws and assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Employee and Manager Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs. Provide prompt and professional assistance, escalating complex issues, as needed.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and generate HR reports, including but not limited to: employee data reports, payroll reports, and benefits reports. Maintain organized and accurate HR documentation.
- HRIS/HR Technology Management: Utilize the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to process transactions, update employee records, and generate reports. Ensure data accuracy and system integrity.
- Client Support: Support People Partners in addressing client HR-related inquiries and needs. Assist in preparing client reports and presentations, as needed.
Minimum Relevant Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR administrative role or similar.
- Experience with payroll-related processes and government benefits
- Strong knowledge of HR administrative processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems, MS Office, and Google Workspace.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly keen to details to avoid errors.
