About the role
Jadeblue Petroleum Inc. is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. This full-time position will be based in our San Juan City, Metro Manila office. As the Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising our company's procurement processes to support our manufacturing and logistics operations.
What you'll be doing- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiating contracts to monitoring supplier performance
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials, goods and services
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into procurement plans
- Analyse spend data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Oversee the procurement team, providing guidance, training and performance management
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures and relevant regulations
- Measure and report on key procurement metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a procurement or supply chain management role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier relationship management and contract negotiation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and devise data-driven solutions
- Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of procurement professionals
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
