About the role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that combines technical expertise with consultative selling to drive business growth. As a Sales Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our customer engagement strategy, leveraging your technical knowledge to identify client needs, propose tailored solutions, and close complex deals.

This role is pivotal in building long-term client relationships and expanding our market presence in the competitive sales landscape.

Key responsibilities
  1. Identify and qualify sales opportunities by understanding client requirements and translating technical specifications into compelling business value propositions
  2. Develop and deliver technical demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing how our solutions address their specific business challenges
  3. Collaborate closely with the sales team to prepare detailed proposals, scoping documents, and solution architectures that align with customer needs and company capabilities
  4. Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate client requirements and determine the most appropriate solutions
  5. Provide pre-sales technical support and guidance throughout the sales cycle, including responding to technical inquiries and addressing client concerns
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor and single point of contact for complex technical matters
  7. Collaborate with product, delivery, and support teams to ensure smooth transition of sold solutions into implementation and customer success phases
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline opportunities in our customer relationship management system
  9. Stay current with industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain technical credibility and identify new sales opportunities
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales engineering, technical sales, or solutions consulting role within a B2B technology or services environment
  • Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand complex systems, architectures, and business processes
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, with experience delivering compelling technical demonstrations to executive and technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in supporting the sales team to close deals, with a track record of contributing to revenue growth
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively about how technical solutions can address business challenges
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills
  • Preferred: Experience in business process outsourcing, information technology services, or managed services offerings
