Accounting Supervisor - Quezon City

Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, compliance with regulations, and timely reporting. This role supervises accounting staff, reviews journal entries and reconciliations, and supports audits and month-end closings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff in accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger tasks.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Excel.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
