CPA- Accounting Supervisor / Assistant Supervisor - Quezon City
Job Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing and monitoring accounts receivables for clients and key accounts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This position is responsible for maintaining and reconciling accounts, overseeing payables, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and handling Philippine tax obligations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual filings.Additionally, the role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to optimize financial processes and improve overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and reconcile accounts receivables for clients and key accounts, ensuring timely collection and accurate reporting.
Oversee and ensure proper posting and monitoring of payables to suppliers.
Prepare and review weekly bank reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate posting of sales and purchase invoices in the accounting system.
Prepare and submit financial reports in compliance with deadlines.
Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions with H.I.S. branches.
Manage time deposits and related financial transactions.
Handle Philippine tax compliance, including preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports.
Coordinate with internal departments on financial matters related to travel, reservations, payments, and sales, as well as with external clients.
Maintain internal control systems and continuously recommend improvements to accounting policies and procedures.
Assist in financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and supporting audit processes.
Perform additional accounting-related duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payables and receivables management.
CPA certification is required.
Strong understanding of Philippine tax regulations and experience handling tax filings (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff is an advantage.
Strong leadership skills and a confident personality.
