Accounting supervisor

Job Description

• Supervision of all accounting staff and their daily tasks and activities for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting function
• Review of governmental remittances for VAT and withholding taxes
• Preparation of Accounting Policies, Guidelines and Procedures, as requested or deemed necessary
• Participation in queries and answering Internal Audit findings relative to Accounting issues or other departments' concerns
• Participation in the monthly inventory in HO and branches and preparation of reconciliation, as needed
• Preparation of all account schedules to support the Trial Balance and Financial Statements to be prepared by the Accounting Manager
• Preparation of bank reconciliations for all bank accounts
• Review of general ledger (GL) accounts in the accounting system

• Must have a college degree in Accountancy
• With at least 3-5 years of work experience, with background in AR, AP, Treasury, Inventory, and General Accounting
• Must have relevant skills in MS Office, Quickbooks, and/or equivalent Accounting Software
