  • Graduate of Business Course or others as applicable
  • Preferably, minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience with emphasis on the construction industry

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the creation of Value for DMCI from selected markets, Customers and Relationships by determining, analyzing, defining and implementing appropriate activities that support DMCI growth opportunities. Spearheading and implementation of DMCI marketing initiatives including high level support of SBU’s in this regard.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. ) Maintains confidentiality of any Business Development or related activity including any other information that may be regarded confidential by nature;
  2. ) Identifies business and market opportunities in our industry as affected by local and international events and expectations;
  3. ) Continuously updates his knowledge of the market and the performance of the DMCI competitive set;
  4. ) Maintains and improves his personal network and associated activities. Encourages and supports Business Unit teams to do likewise;
  5. ) Proposes potential business deals by discovering and exploring opportunities. Identifies and contacts potential business partners;
  6. ) Screens potential business deals by analyzing the market, potential partners, strategies, deal requirements, projects specifics, risks, legal requirements and Business Unit inputs;
  7. ) Evaluates potential partner needs and goals;
  8. ) Supports the process of Corporate Social Responsibility;
  9. ) Seeks to enhance the reputation of DMCI;
  10. ) Seeks to update his job knowledge and that of Business Development staffs/associates
  11. ) Actively supports TQM and ISO 9001 – 2015 including Operational Health and Safety as well as Environmental Standards with particular reference to the development of DMCI Standards, Processes and procedures and applicable to the Business Development Group;
  12. ) Ensures the effective use of information gathering in support of data mining and the like, needed to elevate the quality of decision making processes applicable to our market including competitor performance and the like;
  13. ) Records information as required;
  14. ) Collaborates with HR to ensure an effective succession plan is implemented;
  15. ) Schedules regular meetings between relevant parties to ensure effective communication is maintained. Maintains accurate records;
  16. ) Supports the Business Development Group and Business Unit’s regarding development related issues;
  17. ) Acts as the resource person to DMCI staff on Development related issues
  18. ) Assists in strengthening the organization and competencies of the Group;
  19. ) Assists management in assessing the training needs and provide training accordingly
