The Membership Consultant is the front-line ambassador of the gym, responsible for converting inquiries into active members and delivering a premium onboarding experience. This role blends sales acumen with service excellence—building relationships, understanding client needs, and matching them with the right fitness solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and assist walk-in guests, inquiries, and online leads
- Provide guided facility tours and explain available membership options
- Understand client goals and recommend suitable fitness solutions
- Support prospective members throughout the enrollment process
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and member details
- Coordinate with coaches and operations to ensure smooth onboarding
- Participate in marketing initiatives, events, and outreach activities
- Deliver a consistently positive and professional member experience
- Represent the brand in alignment with company values and service standards
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field (preferred)
- Background in customer service, hospitality, or client-facing roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Service-oriented, organized, and people-focused
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Experience in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands is an advantage
