Job Description:

The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, adherence to governance standards, and achievement of scope, timeline, and budget targets. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and execution discipline to drive predictable and high-quality project outcomes.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Translate project objectives into structured and executable project plans, defining deliverables, milestones, timelines, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of project execution, ensuring alignment across scope, schedule, resources, risks, and stakeholders
• Define and control project scope by establishing clear boundaries and managing changes through formal change control processes
• Develop, monitor, and manage project timelines to ensure milestones and key deliverables are achieved on schedule
• Estimate, track, and control project budgets to ensure financial resources are utilized efficiently and within approved limits
• Ensure all project deliverables meet defined quality standards and stakeholder expectations
• Plan, allocate, and optimize project resources to maximize efficiency and delivery performance
• Identify, engage, and align stakeholders to project objectives, ensuring strong collaboration and support
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans and ensuring timely resolution
• Provide clear, accurate, and timely communication on project status, progress, risks, and decisions to all stakeholders
• Balance financial and human resources effectively to drive efficient and sustainable project delivery
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies, tools, and best practices based on project complexity and context

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Project Initiation

• Define and validate clear business objectives aligned with organizational goals
• Establish and agree on success criteria with key stakeholders
• Document project scope boundaries and ensure clarity on inclusions/exclusions
• Identify and map all relevant stakeholders
• Develop and secure approval of the project charter

1. Project Planning

• Develop a comprehensive and detailed project plan
• Identify and map project dependencies across teams and systems
• Define and monitor the critical path to ensure timeline adherence
• Establish risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
• Create and implement a structured communication plan

1. Project Execution & Delivery Control

• Provide regular (weekly) project status updates to stakeholders
• Maintain and actively manage the RAAIDD log (Risks, Actions, Assumptions, Issues, Decisions, Dependencies)
• Track project deliverables to ensure timely and quality completion
• Define and enforce RASCI for clear roles and accountability
• Control and manage scope changes through formal change management processes
• Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues

1. Stakeholder Management

• Ensure continuous and transparent stakeholder engagement
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and decisions
• Document key decisions and maintain audit trails
• Manage and resolve escalations effectively

1. Communication Management

• Ensure accuracy and clarity of all project status reports
• Document and distribute meeting minutes with clear action items
• Assign and track ownership of all action items
• Maintain consistent and professional communication across all stakeholders

1. Risk and Issue Management

• Maintain and regularly update the project risk register
• Define and monitor risk mitigation plans
• Track and ensure timely resolution of issues
• Escalate critical risks and issues proactively

1. Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Clearly define roles and responsibilities using RASCI
• Remove team blockers to ensure continuous progress
• Drive accountability and performance within the project team
• Foster a collaborative environment and recognize team contributions

1. Governance and Compliance

• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and templates
• Maintain complete and up-to-date project documentation
• Participate in process quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives

1. Financial and Resource Management

• Monitor and track project budget (if applicable)
• Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources
• Manage forecast and approvals related to overtime and project needs

1. Project Closure

• Capture and document lessons learned
• Secure formal stakeholder acceptance and sign-off
• Ensure proper project documentation and closure compliance

1. Administrative and Operational Responsibilities

• Communicate relevant schedules such as holidays and project impacts
• Secure approvals for overtime forecasts and resource adjustments
• Support CMMI and organizational compliance activities
• Participate in continuous learning and upskilling initiatives
• Maintain updated project lists and portfolio trackers
• Prepare and submit weekly status reports
• Manage project-related schedules and resource shifts
• Ensure accurate time tracking (e.g., People Core / myPD)
• Maintain customer satisfaction (CSAT) tracking
• Participate in regular coaching and performance discussions with leadership

JOB SPECIFICATION:

The candidate must have:

• obtained a Bachelor’s or College degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and/or related fields.
• at least three to five (3-5) years of experience in project management and has developed and implemented projects in various industries including BPO, manufacturing and distribution.
• at least 3 years of experience in managing project teams.
• 3+ years of experience working in an Agile Software Development environment
• Ability to structure projects into clear plans with defined milestones, deliverables, and ownership
• Ability to track progress against plans and ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Ability to maintain organization, documentation, and execution discipline
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and workstreams to ensure alignment and seamless delivery
• Ability to manage dependencies and maintain overall project visibility
• Ability to define and control project scope and prevent scope creep
• Ability to plan and manage timelines to ensure milestone achievement
• Ability to allocate, optimize, and forecast resources effectively
• Ability to monitor and control project budget and resource costs
