The HR Generalist is responsible for the effective delivery of core human resources functions including government-mandated benefits administration, timekeeping, payroll, recruitment, training and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Statutory Benefits Management: Handle processing, remittance, and compliance for government-mandated benefits (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth), including loan applications and maternity/sickness claims.
  • Timekeeping & Payroll: Monitor attendance records, validate timekeeping data and compute payroll accurately in line with labor standards and internal policies.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, support resolutions of disciplinary issues and promote a healthy work environment.
  • Recruitment: Source, screen and schedules candidates for interview; onboard new hires and ensure completion of pre-employment requirements.
  • Training & Development: Assist in identifying training needs, organizing learning sessions, and monitoring employee development activities.
  • HRIS Management: Update and maintain employee records in the HR Information System and generate HR-related reports as needed.
  • Compliance & Records Management: Ensure proper documentation of HR transactions and adherence to labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Employee Engagement: Participate in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit HR reports such as headcount, attrition and other KPIs to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration or any related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of generalist experience in HR, preferably in a Food Industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Timekeeping, Payroll and statutory benefits
