HR Generalist

I. JOB OVERVIEW
A Human Resource (HR) Generalist is the one responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities and activities of the company’s human resource. She handles different facets of Human Resources such as Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits, Employee and Labor Relations, Timekeeping and Organizational Development.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct recruitment process - job posting, testing, interview, background checking and profiling
- Process hiring of accepted applicants – papers, orientation, biometrics, etc.
- Coordinate with manpower agencies on manpower issues (vacancies, recruitment, behavior misconduct/ evaluation, attendance, contracts, cash bond, payroll, 13th month, government deductions)
- Monitor manpower/employee concerns (attendance, leave, incident reports, behavior misconduct, assessment)
- Coordinate/ assist payroll department on payroll-related matters of workers
- Coordinate with insurance company on worker insurance, reimbursement of accident insurance claims and other related matters.
- Prepare and disseminate memorandums as approved by Management
- Assist/support HR Manager in decision making, development and implementation of policies/procedures for the improvement of the company
- Coordinate/ assist production coordinator with weekly schedule of workers
- Ensure policies/procedures are in accordance with the company guidelines and with the labor code
- Serve as link and maintain good relations between workers and management
- Maintain and update 201 files/records of workers and office employees of all units
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development Management, Psychology or any related field
- Additional HR training or experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
- Knowledgeable in using MS Office and Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
- With experience in ISO audit is a plus
