LOGISTIC SUPERVISOR

Job Summary:

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily fleet operations to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective transportation services. This includes monitoring vehicle movements, managing fuel consumption, coordinating preventive maintenance, and ensuring all trucks are operational and compliant with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the daily movement and status of all company trucks.
• Track and control fuel consumption to ensure efficiency and prevent misuse.
• Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs of fleet units.
• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with drivers, mechanics, and dispatch personnel to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, fuel usage, maintenance, and repairs.
• Investigate and report vehicle breakdowns, delays, and operational issues.
• Recommend improvements to fleet utilization and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in fleet or logistics supervision, preferably in a trucking company.
• Knowledge of fleet monitoring, vehicle maintenance, and fuel management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management systems (preferred).

Salary Range: 15,000-30,000
