HR SPECIALIST - COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Job Summary:
The HR Specialist for Compensation and Benefits is responsible for administering, monitoring, and improving the company’s total rewards programs, including payroll processing, government-mandated benefits, company-specific incentives, and compensation benchmarking.This role ensures compliance with Philippine labor laws and helps enhance employee satisfaction through fair and effective rewards systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of salary structures and pay scales.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking and internal equity analysis.
- Support performance-based salary reviews and adjustments.
- Prepare and analyze compensation reports to support management decisions.
Benefits Administration:
- Administer government-mandated benefits: SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR tax requirements.
- Manage enrollment, loans, and claims related to SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth.
- Oversee company-provided benefits such as HMO, group insurance, and other wellness programs.
- Coordinate with benefit providers and monitor utilization and renewal processes.
Payroll Coordination:
- Coordinate with Accounting for accurate and timely salary disbursement.
- Monitor attendance, overtime, and leave records for payroll input.
- Ensure compliance with statutory deductions and contributions.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain and update employee records related to compensation and benefits.
- Ensure company policies are aligned with DOLE regulations.
- Support audits and reporting requirements for internal and external agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant HR experience in compensation and benefits in the Philippines.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, compensation trends, and statutory benefits.
- Proficient in MS Excel and HRIS systems.
- Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with government online portals (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, BIR).
- Familiarity with HMO administration and employee wellness programs.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
