The OTR Sales Manager, an individual contributor, is responsible for managing the complete sales cycle on Off-the-Road (OTR) tire sales.

Job Responsibilities:

 A.  Sales Strategy and Planning
  1. Develops and implements a comprehensive sales strategy for the Off-The-Road (OTR) tire segment within the non-mining market.
  2. Conducts market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
 B.  Business Development and Key Account Management
  1. Utilizes market intelligence to refine sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
  2. Researches the market to identify new business opportunities that align with company goals
  3. Plans and executes business development initiatives for non-mining businesses.
  4. Identifies and prioritizes key accounts within the non-mining sector for OTR tire sales.
  5. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target accounts.
 C.  Sales Execution
  1. Manages the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support specifically for prospective clientele engaged in service-provider and other similar segments that requires OTR and/or specialized tires.
  2. Collaborates with the other sales teams or other product business units to achieve revenue targets and deliver customer satisfaction.
 D.  Customer Rapport Building
  1. Fosters strong relationships with customers through regular communication and understanding their unique needs.
  2. Provides on-time service and solutions to address specific customer requirements.
 E.  Problem Resolution
  1. Acts as the primary point of contact for customer concerns and issues related to OTR tire non-mining sales.
  2. Channels customer concerns to the appropriate operational counterparts and ensure timely resolution.
 F.  Product Knowledge and Training
  1. Stays updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and technological advancements in OTR tires non-mining.
  2. Conducts training sessions for the end users to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
 G.  Collaboration
  1. Works closely with operational teams to ensure seamless delivery and support for OTR tire non-mining solutions.
  2. Provides feedback from customers to improve products and services.
 H.  Customer Service and Support
  1. Ensures prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues.
  2. Coordinates with internal teams, such as logistics and technical support, to deliver outstanding customer service.
 I.  Contract and Pricing Negotiation
  1. Collaborates with the pricing team and Finance to negotiate and finalize contracts and pricing agreements with OTR (Dealer or Service Provider) customers.
  2. Ensures pricing terms are competitive and align with the fleet's needs and budget.
 J.  Data Analysis and Reporting
  1. Analyzes sales data and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
  2. Generates regular reports on sales performance, customer satisfaction, and OTR (Dealer/end-user) account status.
 K.  Market Intelligence
  1. Monitors competitor activities and market trends related to OTR tire (Non-Mining) sales.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Knowledge of Dealer and Service Industry and Processes in line with OTR Tire Sales.
  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in business development and key account management.
