Preventive Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs for plant equipment.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and reliability.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical inspections of equipment such as crushers, vibrating screens, belt conveyors, water pumps, and other rotating equipment.
- Perform vibration analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent equipment failures.
- Manage lubrication programs and ensure proper lubrication practices are followed.
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate recurring equipment failures.
- Analyze maintenance KPIs such as Equipment Availability, MTBF, MTTR, and downtime, and develop improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to maintenance inspectors and technicians.
- Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure timely execution of maintenance plans.
- Prepare maintenance reports, equipment history, and reliability improvement recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5+ years of experience in preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, or maintenance planning in mining, manufacturing, cement, power, or heavy industrial facilities.
- Experience with mechanical equipment including crushers, vibrating screens, belt conveyors, water pumps, and other rotating equipment.
- Certified in Vibration Analysis (Minimum ISO Category I).
- Certification as a Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT) or Machinery Lubrication Analyst (MLA) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance methodologies.
- Experience conducting FMEA, RCA, and equipment failure investigations.
- Experience developing maintenance strategies using KPIs such as Availability, MTBF, and MTTR.
- Experience supervising inspectors or maintenance personnel.
- Strong analytical, planning, communication, and coordination skills.
