Field service engineer

1. Be responsible for troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.
2. Experience working with industrial machinery is required.
3. National travel will be required for this role.
4. Perform various duties to assist maintaining a high level of service to customers.
5. Provide administrative and technical assistance.
6. Proficiency in electrical systems and mechanical systems is required.
7. Represents the organization in meetings to resolve important questions.
8. Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.
9. Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve issues.
10. Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
11. Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem.
12. Supports clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat until they've solved a technical issue.
13. Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.
14. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
15. Ensure all issues are properly logged.
16. Prepare and submits accurate and timely reports.
17. Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, new projects and system solution sales.
18. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.
19. Performs other duties and responsibilities that maybe required of from time to time by the immediate superior/department and/or the management.

A minimum of 1-2 years of field service or technical support experience is required.

An engineering degree is required for this position.
