Logistics & warehouse officer

Job Description

• Plan, direct, and oversee all logistics operations including transportation, distribution, and inventory management.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Align logistics schedules with warehouse capacity and clients requirements.

• Manage fleet operations and optimize routing for cost efficiency.
• Oversee vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with service agreements.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance.

• Implement and monitor logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) delivery times, cost efficiency, accuracy).
• Ensure compliance with government regulations on transport and warehousing.
• Support food safety and cold chain integrity standards.

• Collaborate with warehouse teams to align logistics with storage capacity and requirements.
• Prepare logistics report reports and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams for seamless integration.

• Coordinate with clients and suppliers, including Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication and documentation in Fookien or Mandarin Chinese.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 5-7 years in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations
• At least 3 years in supervisory roles

Skills & Competencies:

• Logistics planning and coordination
• Fleet management and routing optimization
• Inventory control and warehouse integration
• Vendor and supplier coordination
• Regulatory compliance (transportation, DA-BPI, DOLE, DENR standards)
• Strong analytical and reporting skills

Language: Must be able to read and write (at least basic) Fooekin or Mandarin Chinese for communication with chinese suppliers, clients and stakeholders.
