About the Role
Inventory accuracy is a core driver of financial control, product availability, and operational efficiency in apparel retail. The Inventory Coordinator safeguards the integrity of inventory data across systems, enabling precise forecasting, cost visibility, and seamless execution across retail and eCommerce channels.This role directly influences how products move, how margins are protected, and how customer demand is fulfilled at scale. - 3-5 years of inventory control experience, preferably in retail or eCommerce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite Oracle is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with objective data assessment capability
- Ability to prioritize effectively and develop practical, creative solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Commitment to learning and applying the client's values and operational standards
- Support all administrative activities within the department to ensure accurate electronic and physical inventory across all distribution centers and retail stores
- Monitor and reconcile all inventory movements to maintain system integrity and support product strategy
- Deliver accurate and timely reports and post-mortems; summarize insights to support decision-making
- Assist annual product lifecycle events, including year-end inventory counts and warehouse sales
- Collaborate with Finance to maintain updated and accurate inventory records
- Support Retail and eCommerce teams to plan and manage inventory on the backend to meet client demand
- Work closely with the transportation team to collect freight cost data
- Manage freight costing and ensure accurate freight-related information in NetSuite
- Perform analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Provide analytical support to assist management in achieving departmental goals
- Support ad-hoc requests and projects as required
