Junior Financial Modeler (Business Development Specialist)

The Business Development Specialist will provide technical (including financial modeling and analysis) and administrative support to the Business Development Department in searching, viability assessment, and business case justification and presentation to the management and shareholders.
Provides support to achieve the screening, pre-development, and development milestones of the projects.
- Searches for development opportunities through origination or identification via public offerings, industry networking, consultants & advisors, business relationships, etc.;
- Prepares business cases, financial models, and presentations to management and possible lenders;
- Develop accurate energy yield, revenue models, CAPEX, and OPEX projections as input to financial models and seek approvals from the Board and Shareholders.
- Assesses, prepares, monitors, recommends controls, and prepares reports on risk & opportunities business development projects;
- Prepares and collaborates on the scope of work, assesses offer, recommends the engagement, monitors and reports the deliverables of consultants & advisors;
- Assesses, prepares, and recommends contract strategies & commercial operations of projects for presentation to senior officers & the board of directors;
- Assesses, monitors, collaborates with internal stakeholders, and reports on the deliverables of the Project;
- Collaborates on the delivery of the required permits and licenses before project construction;
- Monitors utilization and progress of set budgets and timelines for development projects;
- Leads & manages the preparation of contract documents for project financing & execution;
- Supports the Project Execution specialist/s throughout project development phases in milestone and budget preparation, initial permitting, EPC tendering, and other preparations before project execution;
- Acts as Project Manager for assigned business development projects
Others:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics and other Natural Science Courses, Statistics, Economics or Accountancy
3 years of relevant experience in Business Development and/or power economics, banking, or finance (bank, big 4 audit firms i.e. SGV, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte)
With training in Basic Accountancy, Financial Modeling, Financial Statement Analysis
Preferably CPA
Strong Mathematics background and analytical skills, advanced MS Excel Skills, Computer literate, good behavioral personality, and work ethics
