Software QA Tester| Onsite| Night Shift| ASAP
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and versatile Software QA Tester with strong graphic design capabilities to support one of our valued clients. This role is ideal for a professional who can ensure software reliability while also contributing to user experience, interface design, and visual communication.
Key Responsibilities
Software Quality Assurance & Testing- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on web and desktop applications built on .NET Framework technologies.
- Analyze software requirements and translate them into detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using standard QA tools and processes.
- Conduct manual testing and assist in defining or implementing test automation strategies where applicable.
- Collaborate closely with developers, particularly .NET engineers, to ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Validate system integrations, APIs, and database interactions using MSSQL.
- Ensure software meets usability, performance, and reliability standards prior to release.
- Evaluate and improve user interface and user experience across existing applications.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to support usability enhancements.
- Work alongside developers to ensure accurate implementation of UI designs.
- Maintain consistency in design systems, branding, and user interaction standards.
- Produce high-quality visual assets for marketing, product documentation, and internal use.
- Design graphics for digital platforms, including websites, emails, and promotional materials.
- Support branding initiatives by ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all outputs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Multimedia Arts, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in Software QA Testing, preferably for web and desktop applications.
- Experience working with .NET-based applications such as ASP.NET, C#, MVC, WinForms, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience writing clear and comprehensive test documentation.
- Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
- Solid experience using graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end design principles is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SQL/MSSQL and data validation techniques.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum environments.
- Ability to balance technical testing responsibilities with creative design work.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
