Adobe Illustrator Designer

The ideal candidate is both creatively capable and technically precise, and equally comfortable producing polished design work and handling straightforward digital tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce original graphic designs in Adobe Illustrator for product and manufacturing applications
• Use AI design tools — including ChatGPT and image generation platforms — to accelerate ideation and produce initial design drafts
• Convert AI-generated raster outputs in JPEG or PDF format into clean, production-ready vector files
• Prepare and package finalized design files in the exact formats required for manufacturer handoff
• Apply precise iterative refinements and edits to designs based on clear and structured feedback
• Carry out minor website edits and updates as they arise
• Organize and maintain all design files within Google Drive to ensure clean handoff and easy version management
• Follow written instructions and established SOPs to deliver accurate, on-brief work consistently
• Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, estimated turnaround times, and any workflow blockers

Mandatory Skills:

• Expert-level Adobe Illustrator proficiency supported by a professional portfolio demonstrating technical range and design quality
• Demonstrated ability to vectorize raster images and produce clean, print- and manufacturer-ready production files
• Confident working knowledge of AI design tools including ChatGPT and image generation platforms
• Skilled at prompt engineering to consistently generate accurate and usable AI design outputs
• A sharp eye for typography, color relationships, composition, proportion, and visual detail
• Experience organizing and managing design files through Google Drive for collaborative workflows
• Reliable, focused, and capable of delivering consistent quality while working independently
• Clear and responsive communication throughout all stages of the project workflow

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience preparing artwork specifically for physical product manufacturing or commercial print production
• Working familiarity with additional Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop or InDesign
• Basic website editing experience such as copy updates, image replacements, or minor layout adjustments
• A habit of suggesting creative solutions and identifying ways to improve design workflows
• Comfortable managing several concurrent design projects without losing precision or focus
• Experience operating within a small, growing business environment where adaptability and initiative are valued
