Data analyst

Purpose of the position:

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing sales-related data to provide insights that support decision-making, performance tracking, and business growth. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of sales data and creates actionable reports to optimize sales strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and maintain sales data from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor sales performance, KPIs, and trends.
• Analyze historical sales data to identify patterns, correlations, and potential business opportunities.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc sales performance reports to management and relevant departments.
• Work closely with the sales team to forecast sales and set targets based on data analysis.
• Monitor the accuracy of sales records and reconcile discrepancies.
• Support sales campaigns by tracking results, ROI, and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to improve data systems, automation, and reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications, knowledge, skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a sales-driven environment.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools
• Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Effective communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
