About the role

VTSA International Inc. is seeking an HR Assistant (Compensation and Benefits) to join our Human Resources team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting the effective administration and management of our company's compensation and benefits programmes.

The successful candidate will work closely with the HR team to ensure our employees receive competitive and fair remuneration packages whilst maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies. This position is fundamental to employee satisfaction, retention and the overall success of our human resources operations.

Key responsibilities
  1. Assisting in the administration of payroll systems, including data entry, verification and processing of employee compensation records
  2. Familiar with Sprout Admin and Payroll is preferred.
  3. Supporting the maintenance and updating of employee compensation and benefits databases and records
  4. Preparing compensation and benefits-related documentation, including benefit enrolment forms, payslip summaries and employee communications
  5. Assisting with the coordination and administration of employee benefits programmes, including health insurance, retirement plans and other employee perks
  6. Processing employee requests related to compensation and benefits adjustments, leave applications and benefit enquiries
  7. Supporting the preparation of compensation and benefits reports and analysis for management review
  8. Ensuring compliance with compensation and benefits policies and relevant employment legislation
  9. Coordinating with external benefit providers and insurance companies to resolve employee issues and queries
  10. Assisting in the onboarding process by ensuring new employees receive appropriate compensation and benefits information and documentation
  11. Supporting the HR team in ad-hoc compensation and benefits projects and initiatives
What we're looking for
  1. 1-2 years' experience in a Human Resources role, preferably with exposure to compensation and benefits administration
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, with strong data entry skills
  3. Knowledge of payroll systems and compensation administration practices
  4. Familiarity with employment legislation and regulations relevant to compensation and benefits in the Philippines
  5. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive employee information
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
  8. A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  9. Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee and company information
