About the role

Hansman International Opc. is seeking a dedicated and organized HR Assistant to join our team in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our Human Resources department. As HR Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the HR team, contributing to the effective management of our human capital across our manufacturing, transport and logistics operations.

This role is instrumental in ensuring smooth HR processes and helping to maintain a positive workplace environment for all employees.

Key responsibilities
  1. Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, scheduling interviews and preparing new employee documentation
  2. Maintain and update employee records and personnel files in compliance with data protection regulations
  3. Process payroll-related administrative tasks, including leave requests, attendance records and timesheet submissions
  4. Provide administrative support for HR meetings, training sessions and company events
  5. Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  6. Handle employee relations enquiries and direct queries to appropriate HR personnel
  7. Prepare HR reports, presentations and correspondence as required
  8. Assist with compliance documentation and record-keeping for regulatory requirements
  9. Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry and scheduling
What we're looking for
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is preferred
  2. Proven experience working in a Human Resources department or similar administrative role
  3. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management software
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
  7. Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  9. Basic knowledge of payroll and benefits administration is a plus
