FOOD & BEVERAGE (F&B) MANAGER

Job Description:

• Review and optimize food and beverage menus to ensure profitability, seasonality, and alignment with customer preferences.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, sanitation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee daily front-of-house and kitchen operations to ensure efficient service delivery and consistent guest satisfaction.
• Manage recruitment, training, and performance to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring positive resolutions and enhanced guest experiences.
• Monitor and control operational budgets, including labor costs and administrative expenses.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring proper storage and quality of perishable goods, equipment, and supplies.
• Develop and implement marketing initiatives, promotions, menus, and operational policies to support business growth.
• Analyze financial performance, food costs, and pricing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in an F&B Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and hospitality industry best practices.
• Ability to build and maintain a positive, high-performing team environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills for handling schedules, budgets, and operations.
• Understanding of food cost control, inventory management, and basic culinary operations.
• Awareness of current food and beverage trends, including sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
