Facilities Officer
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Facilities Officer to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, safety, security, and overall functionality of our sports and recreation facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas of the clubhouse are clean, safe, fully operational, and ready to provide an excellent experience for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily inspections of the facility, including sports courts, locker rooms, common areas, offices, and parking areas.
- Monitor and maintain building systems such as electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, lighting, and water supply.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and oversee repairs with external contractors and service providers.
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are operating safely and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility-related concerns.
- Monitor housekeeping standards and ensure cleanliness is maintained throughout the property.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of sports events, tournaments, and company activities.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies, and coordinate procurement when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate inspections, permits, and regulatory requirements related to facility operations.
- Prepare maintenance reports, work orders, and documentation of completed repairs.
- Recommend facility improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Serve as the Facilities and Security Officer, ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, members, guests, and company assets by conducting routine facility inspections, monitoring access, enforcing safety and security policies, responding to incidents, and coordinating with management and external authorities when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Property Management, or any related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, property operations, or a related role.
- Experience in sports facilities, clubhouses, hotels, malls, or commercial establishments is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building maintenance systems.
- Knowledge of workplace safety, fire safety, and emergency response procedures.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Willing to perform hands-on inspections and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, when operationally required.
