Accounting Supervisor

An Accounting Supervisor manages daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll, while supervising junior staff. They ensure accurate financial reporting, perform reconciliations, enforce internal controls, and assist with month-end closing, audits, and tax compliance to maintain company financial health.

• Team Leadership: Oversee, train, and mentor accounting staff, conducting performance evaluations.
• Daily Operations: Manage daily transactions, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy.
• Closing & Compliance: Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide necessary documentation.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• Experience: At least 3 years work experience as an Accounting Supervisor or senior accountant.
• Skills: Computer literate
• Competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
