OBJECTIVES:

  • To ensure area development and product placement of company products and other business offerings in all Sari-Sari Stores (SSB/X Accounts) within the assigned blocks/areas.
  • To assist the Supervisor in implementing plans in the assigned areas and attaining the Company's business objectives.
 I.  MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE AREAS
 A.  Planning & Organizing
  • Analyzes business conditions and trends in the assigned Sari-Sari Stores (SSB/X Accounts).
  • Becomes familiar with the Sari-Sari Stores (SSB/X Accounts) within the assigned coverage area.
  • Prepares and updates, on a quarterly basis, the accounts master list, account profiles, area profiles, and maps of each block in accordance with the established sequential routing coverage system.
  • Organizes daily, weekly, and monthly coverage plans to ensure regular coverage of all pre-listed accounts in all assigned blocks.
  • Strictly implements the itinerary schedule for area and account/outlet coverage, sales, and collection activities.
  • Plans the efficient and effective placement of standard must-carry products based on the Be Hapi template and manages their continuous availability based on product performance per account.
  • Plans the efficient and effective strategic product displays (Hot Spot Displays) in all assigned accounts.
  • Strictly implements the standardized SRP for SSB/X must-carry products based on the Be Hapi template and evaluates desired results as discussed by the Sales Team.
  • Develops and maintains good trade relations with outlet owners.
  • Maintains up-to-date records of accounts and each assigned block or area.
  • Establishes action steps and schedules for plans, programs, and directives based on guidelines provided by the Operations Manager (OM), Distributor Sales Supervisor (DSS), Team Leader (TL), and/or Channel Distribution Specialist (CDS).
  • Requests and computes the resources needed to implement sales and merchandising action plans within allowable budget limits.
  • Learns and masters operational policies and procedures provided by superiors.
 B.  Controlling
  • Submits accurate, timely, and updated Daily Coverage Reports (DCR), including competitive activities and trade information. Completes and regularly updates the Account Database information for all assigned blocks.
  • Implements, monitors, and enhances merchandising objectives and activities for each account.
  • Ensures account compliance with the Company's credit and collection policies (if applicable).
  • Monitors bounced checks and immediately requests replacement. For delinquent accounts, provides recommendations to the immediate superior (if applicable).
  • Maintains truck inventory variances within the minimum allowable limits set by the distributor and aligned with the respective CDS/M.
II. TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE AREAS
 A.  Distribution, Sales, and Collection
  • Ensures attainment of distribution, placement, merchandising, and collection objectives in accordance with established standards.
  • Ensures timely placement and consistent monitoring of reorders for new products in all covered outlets.
 B.  Truck and Outlet Stock Inventory Management
  • Ensures effective and efficient inventory management of truck stocks and outlet stocks, as evidenced by the continuous reduction of illegitimate bad orders (B.O.), stock-outs, and overstock situations, while ensuring ICO compliance through the proper accomplishment of the Manual Truck Stock Report on a daily basis.
 C.  Truck Repairs and Maintenance
  • Ensures strict implementation of preventive maintenance programs, as evidenced by the non-occurrence of breakdowns caused by misuse or lack of proper maintenance, by immediately reporting truck-related concerns to the OM, DSS, and/or TL.
 D.  Bad Orders and Stock Returns Management
  • Ensures strict implementation of policies, systems, and procedures regarding bad orders and stock returns, as evidenced by the non-occurrence of illegitimate bad orders and the attainment of Bad Orders CSR objectives.
 E.  Report Preparation and Submission of Collections
  • Ensures the timely submission of accurate reports, purchase orders, and collections.
 F.  Marketing Program Assistance
  • Ensures maximum support in the implementation of marketing programs within the assigned area by keeping abreast of current market conditions, product innovations, and price changes, and by providing timely information required by Marketing.
 G.  Merchandising
  • Ensures that company brands are properly displayed within designated Hot Spot areas and effectively advertised inside and outside outlets through the proper use of merchandising and POP materials, such as posters, hanging baskets, price cards, mobiles, and product visual aids, while maintaining strong relationships with store owners and display personnel.
 H.  Pricing
  • Ensures that company brands are properly and competitively priced in all outlets where they are distributed.
 I.  Customer and Trade Relations
  • Ensures the maintenance of strong customer and trade relations within assigned blocks, areas, or regions, as evidenced by continued patronage of Company products, strategic Hot Spot product displays, and support for Company objectives.
 J.  Trade Information and Competitive Reporting
  • Provides immediate, complete, and accurate reports on significant competitive activities, as well as economic and trade conditions relevant to MNC products within the assigned area.
