Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)✔ Licensed Engineer is preferred
✔ Certified Safety Officer (SO2/SO3) or with BOSH/COSH Training Certificate
✔ At least 2 years of experience in construction safety management
✔ Knowledgeable in DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards and Construction Safety and Health Program (CSHP) requirements
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
✔ Willing to work on-site and conduct field inspections
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures at construction sites.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and hazard assessments.
- Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations, company policies, and project safety requirements.
- Prepare and maintain safety reports, permits, and documentation.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and safety training for workers.
- Coordinate emergency response activities and ensure availability of safety equipment.
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.
- Assist in preparing and updating the Construction Safety and Health Program (CSHP).
