Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts regular inspection for maintenance & repair activities.
• Ensures the functionalities of machinery and equipment.
• Oversees the Motor Pool operations that support the farm transportation needs.
• Ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of the farm facility (solid waste, MRF, weed clearing, etc.)
• Ensures the maintenance and upkeep of the power generation facility and distribution lines, and wastewater treatment facility.
• Checks regularly the maintenance schedules of each machinery, equipment & buildings to achieve consistency.
• Implement safety measures on a regular basis for the benefit of both employees and farm facilities.
• Updates Maintenance & Safety Manuals regularly as may be required.
• Recommends to Management areas for improvement in relation to building designs and safety standards.
• Oversees implementation of regular pest control scheduling.
• Oversee the conduct of bidding process, constructor performance and target achievements in coordination with concerned departments.
• Conducts regular performance evaluation of subordinates in coordination with HR Department as required.
• Conducts regular department meetings and requires appropriate related reports from each of the areas being supervised by subordinates.
• Submits monthly reports and weekly updates as required.
• Performs other functions (Tasks and Special Projects) as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or any related course.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management, (Preferred: agribusiness sector)
• Licensed Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial disciplines in highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in preventive maintenance programs, vendor coordination, and asset lifecycle management.
• Proven leadership background in supervising engineering and maintenance teams across multiple sites.
• Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and cost control.
