A Process Engineer/Continuous Improvement Officer designs, improves, and troubleshoots industrial processes to optimize efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. They apply engineering principles and data analysis to achieve process improvements across various industries.
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology or a related field
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in process mapping, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem-solving tools (e.g., Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys)
- Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and audit processes is an advantage
- Strong understanding of production processes, workflow optimization, and efficiency improvement
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar)
- Experience in handling cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead improvement initiatives and influence teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High level of initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement mindset
