What you'll own

• Lead and mentor a capable accounting team — from workload distribution to performance development
• Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting across the EG group — including audited statutory financials for the EG AFSL entity
• Review tax reconciliations, income tax returns, AFSL calculations, and indirect tax filings
• Ensure quality control across all financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting outputs

• Support executives with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, valuations, and financial modelling
• Act as the finance lead in cross-functional discussions, resolving compliance and accounting queries

• Drive improvements in financial systems, internal controls, and reporting efficiency
• Develop and implement finance policies that reduce risk and support business continuity
• Stay current with tax legislation and accounting standards — advise the business proactively

• 10+ years in accounting with 3–5 years managing an accounting team
• CPA certification (additional accounting certifications are a plus)
• AU accounting background — ideally familiar with ATO requirements, AFSL compliance, and real estate accounting
• Advanced Excel skills — macros, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs; Xero-certified and experienced in MYOB
• Strong communicator — confident presenting financial reports to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
• Proactive and highly organized — you plan ahead, meet deadlines early, and take full ownership of your deliverables
• Willing to work onsite 4 days a week - Official work hours: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (PH Time)
