About the role
As the Fabrication & Machinery Assistant Manager for Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc', you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's fabrication and machinery operations at our state-of-the-art facility in Lipa City, Batangas.This full-time position is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our manufacturing processes, contributing directly to the success of our automotive components business.
What you'll be doing- Manage the day-to-day operations of the fabrication and machinery departments, ensuring optimal productivity and quality standards are maintained
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all fabrication equipment and machinery, implementing proactive strategies to minimise downtime
- Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency
- Supervise and mentor a team of skilled fabrication and machinery technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Analyse production data and generate insightful reports to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the automotive or related industry
- Strong technical expertise and understanding of fabrication processes and machinery operations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically
- Proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation
- Proficiency in using relevant manufacturing management software and data analysis tools
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
